Finally returned to Joe Beef since our first visit 15(!) years ago… once again the food, the service, the vibe was above and beyond. Planning to be back again sooner than later xo

La nourriture était potable mais pas de grande qualité j’avais choisi pétoncles et crevettes ! Lés pétoncles étaient durs et sec ( probablement du réchauffé) les crevettes secs également ! Ma conjointe a pris le doré et c’était bon !

Le Gia est ce genre de restaurant qui fait le charme de Montréal. Caché dans un coin discret qui ne paie pas de mine, c’est un véritable bijou, avec une ambiance et un service impeccable. Et ça c’est avant d’avoir pris une bouchée! Nous avons été très bien pris en main autant pour la nourriture que pour l’alcool. Note parfaite!

The restaurant is stunning, with a beautifully designed space that exudes warmth and sophistication. The staff is equally impressive—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely fun to interact with. They made us laugh and were incredibly helpful throughout the evening. The presentation of the food was equally appealing, and it’s clear that attention to detail is a priority. However, the experience faltered when it came to execution. I ordered the Filet Mignon blue, but it arrived more cooked than I had requested, missing the mark on this delicate preparation. I also opted for a lobster tail, but unfortunately, it was served undercooked. When I sent it back, I was disappointed that the same tail was simply refired rather than replaced—a surprising choice, given the $26 price tag. To add to the frustration, it came back overcooked. That said, I don’t suspect these issues are a regular occurrence. It’s possible that their top chefs weren’t in the kitchen on December 26th—a busy time of year where inconsistencies can sometimes happen. Everything else we ordered was well-prepared and enjoyable, and the ambiance made the evening pleasant. With some improvements in food preparation, Firegrill has the potential to be exceptional. For now, it’s a good spot with some room to grow.

One of my family's go to places when we go out for dinner. The food is delicious, quantities are great, and service with a smile that is relatively quick! My kids love it ! The only problem is that once you've tried the hamburger it's kind of hard to want anything else because it's amazing! I have tried most of the menu and can't complain about the taste and quality of the food! A must go to for any occasion.
