At Millpond Gatherings, we are an all encompassing hospitality center where you can eat, celebrate, shop, and stay with us here in the quaint town of Northford, Connecticut. Our dry-aged grass fed beef is sourced from our own cattle farm just 2 miles up the road, and accompanied with local produce from our surrounding farmers.     This is our favorite local restaurant and it never fails. We all had their week night special, price fixed menu and it is an incredible value for the amount of high quality food you receive. The staff was great as always. This is a can’t miss deal during the week.

    Amazing dinner and drinks with friends. Ambience is lively but not food loud. Food and drinks were spectacular. Definitely try the slab bacon appetizer!

    The Tavern was the perfect choice for our mid-week birthday celebration. The additions to the fall menu are delicious with particular favorites: the Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Acorn Squash Skins. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient and we appreciated Chef Alex’s table-side visit. We’ll be back!

    Our waiter, Michael , was very helpful in guiding us to our cocktail choices and explaining the menu. The tuna tartare was very fresh and abundant. The kettle chips were crispy and a great compliment to the tuna. The halibut was perfectly cooked, and tasted delightful with the mushrooms, shrimp, fingerling potatoes dressed in a lobster sauce. The pumpkin cocktail evoked the spirit of autumn. The bread pudding was elevated with blueberries and vanilla bean ice cream. All but the cocktail was part of the prix fixe menu. Fine dining at a fine price
