Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles. The interior is multi-faceted, with a black slate tiled traditional dining room, a gorgeous 14 person capacity wooden sushi bar, a semi private "tatami" room which holds 12 people, a larger 25 person private dining room, an enclosed "back patio" casual dining room complete with tropical garden, a black concrete liquor bar with custom sake cocktails and fusion traditional cocktails. Service was immaculate, our server was attentive without hovering. She spotted an error in what we had been served before we did and had it swiftly corrected. We had the shishito peppers, geoduck, and omakase. The pacing was perfect, we were able to enjoy each part of the course without feeling rushed. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. 14/10 would recommend.

This was my third time dining at Sushi Kashiba and I will be back. Yes, it is expensive, but the food, presentation, and service are amazing. Absolutely the best dining experiences I've ever had. The servers are so professional and very attentive. They are very passionate about their work, the food they serve, and the artistry of the chefs.
