Known as "Noz" to his friends, Abe-san is part of a movement from Japan advancing Edomae-style sushi, incorporating aging and preparation techniques that date back to Japan's Edo period. Upon entering the restaurant, guests are transported by the Sukiya-style wooden interior, which was assembled using more than a dozen types of cedar. Took my boyfriend here for his bday and he loved it! I believe it was 15 courses including apps, nigiri’s and dessert. It’s in a basement hidden from outside and it’s lowkey intimate, but energetic vibes! I think 12 ppl total. It truly was unlimited sake and they made sure to top you off right away and the waiters/chefs also were energetic and in a great mood making it a fun party vibe! At the end all bday people got sparklers. Reminder it’s cash only!

We went to Koma for the Tuna carving and it was a great experience. Delicious and fresh fish and really cool seeing the carving. We were worried that we had a table outside but it’s a completely enclosed space with heaters, so we were really comfortable sat outside in the middle of November!

So so fun!! Very cool and unique experience to do. Just go into it knowing the food is mediocre (which is expected from an experience like this) would still give it 5 stars. The employees are awesome
