Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. As soon as Amy Chanta flung open the doors in 1989 Chat Thai became an instant smash hit with Sydney diners already familiar with Thailand and no appetite for compromising on ingredients, flavours, textures and aromas. Thai food with a twist. Great food that was a little different. We were well looked after by the staff and the service was efficient. The Lara was amazing and the green chicken curry was the best I’ve ever tasted. Thank you. We’ll be back.

Outstanding food.. generous portions, brilliant balance of heat and spice, fresh and delicious. Awesome authentic Thai cuisine. Unfortunately wine list is very limited and no BYO allowed.
