In March of 2013 renowned vegan Chef Tal Ronnen opened Crossroads at the corner of Melrose and Sweetzer in Los Angeles.     Love this restaurant. The last few times eating here we have shared everything, and tonight we did the same and had the lasagna, so good!, the grapefruit and avocado salad, the calamari fritti, and the butter beans, oh and the gnocchi, which was divine! We all wished we could eat this food on a regular basis. What a treat.

    We’ve eaten here twice when in Vegas and it never disappoints. Food is awesome and portion sizes are huge so nacho platter is definitely enough for 2!

    Carlos restaurant is a pretty cool place. The vibe is very much what you would expect from a cantina. Drinks during happy hour are great. Chips and salsa are good with a very firm chip. The regular salsa is good the extra spicy salsa is very hot and tasted like it was made from ghost peppers. The entrees are typical Americanized Mexican dishes not very authentic but more like Texmex.

    We had an early reservation so it wasn’t very busy, our server Alex was amazing. We had the lobster and crab nachos. Everything was great.

    Our server from Croatia was very knowledgeable of the history of the menu and the chef and just was a delight. We enjoyed the food and it was such a surprise as a vegetarian sometimes it’s a struggle.
