Jam Delish is an independent family-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar in Angel, Islington. Founded in 2020 by siblings Jordan and Chyna, their idea was one that came purely from their desire to bring their grandparents authentic, traditional Caribbean recipes from their family home to the London food scene, with a fresh and modern take, inspired by their own upbringing in a vegan household.     We visited Mildred's for lunch to celebrate my daughter's 18th, two of our party were vegetarian so it was nice for them to have the full choice of the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, we particularly loved the red pepper romesco, the arancini and kimchi gyoza. I had the masala brunch which was lovely. We couldn't fault anything and can't recommend it highly enough. Even my husband, who as a meat-eater and was slightly nervous about finding something he liked, raved about the food. Definitely pay it a visit, vegan or not!

    I’ve been going to Mildred’s for decades and I was wowed by the food last night. The service was excellent and the wine decent. It was very noisy when I arrived though and I’m glad my booking was late-ish as it became easier to talk as the night went on.
