Albert's is a neighbourhood wine bar nestled behind the heritage listed Kings Arcade in the leafy backstreets of Armadale. Our bar is named for the Australian artist, Albert Tucker who once resided in the area and more importantly depicted our beautiful 19th century building in his 1937 landscape.We offer an ever-changing list of exciting wines by authentic small batch producers from all over the world, along with many classic 'non-wine' drinking options. Don’t expect a traditional restaurant menu, our kitchen offers up a variety of smaller, seasonal plates that are designed to share. Order one or two as a snack or combine several to create a more substantial meal.

Dear Richmond,This little restaurant is pour love letter to food. It's our happy little place, where we get to live the the joy of feeding people everyday. We all grew up in spaces that equated food with love, just like this place. Everything we have done here is deliberate, from the art on the walls to the produce we use. We've made a point of sourcing ingredients from some of the best suppliers in the state, making sure that our menu reflects what's in season. For us, this place is about experience: we try our best to make you feel both at home and 'out for something special'. One of our very favourite places to enjoy some wonderful Italian food and soak up the fantastic atmosphere. Stunning food, wonderful home made pasta dishes, fantastic wine - a wonderful gem of a restaurant. It is our quick visit to Italy, I close my eyes, taste the pasta and I am back in Italy. Had the best time at Love Letter restaurant and bar! The super friendly and attentive team made me feel so welcome right from the start. The Splice cocktail is AHHH-mazing – legit tasted like the ice cream! I also had the 250g eye fillet and wedge salad with thick-cut bacon, and wow, it was absolutely delicious. Such a fantastic spot – can’t wait to go back!

A fabulous spot - the service is incredible, with the team recommending amazing bottles of wine that weren’t available on the normal list, phenomenal specials and just a beautiful atmosphere. It’s always good - highly recommend.
