                                                                      New Year’s Eve dinner for two. Very pleasant room. Decent menu. The lobster ravioli had a very tasty sauce; duck paté resembled turkey dressing. Not so wonderful. I had veal, my wife had steak. Neither came with a sauce, which seemed odd for a fancy French restaurant. Booked as ordered, but boring. Wine list is odd. Very few European offerings. In the absence of a sommelier we guessed at a Cote du Rhone and got lucky. Server had no idea. Overall a pleasant experience, at pretty elevated pricing. Not particularly fancy French, so not sure where all the awards came from.

                                                                      The ambiance and service were great. The main branzino fish course and lobster ravioli appetizer were delicious. I cannot say enough amazing things about the delicious fish. However the portion was a bit too large. The tomato salad appetizer had too much oil dressing. The fruit tart and chocolate cake desserts were very lack luster. An in house pastry chef, smaller main portions, and perhaps four course pre fixe NYE menu would have been better.

                                                                      New Year’s Eve at Cuistot has become a favorite tradition for us and this year did not disappoint! Sitting in the fireplace room is so beautiful and cozy. Fabiola provided amazing service along with every other server last night. The dinner was delicious from the beginning to the end and the wine was excellent. Thank you to everyone at Cuistot for a delightful New Year’s Eve experience!

                                                                      Front host was a very unfriendly gentleman - made the environment unwelcoming. Food was great, as was our server.

                                                                      Anita, you know that he wasn't unfriendly. You didn't like the fact that there wasn't availability in the dining room that you requested, even though it is clearly stated that rooms are "subject to availability". He even sent you complimentary dessert and champagne for the inconvenience and you couldn't even say thank you. Again, sorry for the disappointment.

                                                                      This is one of my favorite restaurants in SoCal, and yet, this Christmas turkey meal was the most horrendous flavorless meal I've ever had in my life. The server, bless his heart, been working there ages, was too frazzled to give us a proper greeting or attention. I am sending my message privately because I don't want my review to negatively impact your restaurant's business. I am very disappointed, but am grateful for the many years of yummy meals.

                                                                      We travel a lot and are foodies so it is meaningful to find a restaurant that surprised us with a really interesting menu, great quality of food and a good bar, and a fabulous setting (booth by the fireplace, with inspiring Christmas decorations.) Great value for a festive experience in what we would consider to be the best restaurant in the area.
