Customshop is a chef-driven restaurant that showcases local farms and purveyors in an effort to bring our guests the highest quality ingredients within our community. Executive Chef and Owner Andres Kaifer along with his team believe in crafting honest straightforward food with an elevated modern touch that delivers something truly unique. Weekly menu changes allow us to highlight the seasonality of food and the beauty of North Carolina produce, seafood, and specialty items. With stylistic inspiration from Spain, Italy, and France, our neighborhood restaurant aims to make everyone feel welcome. We are proud to offer a seasonal cocktail menu that also takes an ingredient-first approach and looks to mirror the creativity and ingenuity of our culinary team. We had a pretty poor experience at Customshop. I actually had a reservation elsewhere and when one became available at CS, I switched it to here. I had friends in town, two of them celebrating birthdays, which we noted in the reservation. We were at a long table right next to the door. Our waitress was also the bartender and doing a bunch of other things. We were just told welcome and that was it. No explanation of any specials, didn't walk us through the menu, seemed a bit irritated when we asked her questions about some of the menu items. Took awhile for her to come back as she was doing a lot of other things. We definitely felt like our table was not apart of the actual restaurant, and just a random table up front who was given a random bartender as our server. There was zero mention of the birthdays either which was disappointing. I wish we had kept our other reservation instead. It wasn't worth the 25 minute Uber ride or money.

The food here is really top notch, particularly the starters and the desserts. Great value for the high quality food, and service was fast and friendly.

Zooey was fantastic! The food was amazing. It was an incredible first visit and a wonderful date night. I tried the Hamachi and it was delish!
