Della Santina's Trattoria in Sonoma, San Francisco is a traditional Italian restaruant serving recipes mostly from Lucca, Italy. It was founded by Quirico (Dan) and Shirley Della Sanitina. With the passing of Shirley Della Santina - Quirico, his son Robert and wife Nicole continue to carry on the family business and Tuscan traditions. Quirico is the chef behind the menu and has provided what's been described as Italian comfort food in a gorgeously authentic Italian setting. When you walk in the front entrance you'll be greeted by truly Italian decorations and design, as well as fresh flowers on every table.

Della Santina's offers a variety of home made pastas, antipasti, soups and salads, juicy rotisserie cooked meats and fresh seafood. Local wines from Sonoma, as well as Italian wines and beers are all featured on the wine list. Della Santina's received the 2023 Sonoma Index-Tribune People's Choice Awards for Italian Cuisine and Romantic Meal.

Server was delightful & very accommodating. Service was well paced. Minestrone soup, penne with Italian sausage, panzella salad were delicious.

Very quaint restaurant and very Italian looking. Our waiter was very attentive without being pushy. He’s been at the restaurant for 25 years. The menu had almost anything you could want for dinner at an Italian restaurant and we were happy with our choices. Service was excellent and all our needs were fulfilled.

I have been eating in Della Santinas for at least one day a week for several years. The food is yummy, the ambience charming, the service just right. With my attendance record I am well known, the staff remembers my preferences to the point where I rarely have to ask. I even have my own table. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I sat in the warm, outdoor covered patio with string lights. The service was great and the food very delicious. We shared the pappardelle duck ragu and the spinach and meat ravioli. The mushroom ravioli sauce was very good but we weren’t expecting the pappardelle to be without sauce. Both were very tasty but for me, could have used a tad more salt. Better to have less than more, though, and I did not add any. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake special and lemon tart, both of which were very good. My only minor issue was that my chair kept getting bumped multiple times by the staff serving the larger party next to us in the corner. There really wasn’t ample room for them to move around. Great food and service, though. I would definitely go back.

Seven of us had dinner before going to the Trancendence Theater Company show at the Sebastiani Theater. The service, ambiance, and buzz in the restaurant was outstanding. Wide range of menu items to suit everyone's taste, and a great wine list too. Service was friendly, professional, and attentive. Everyone agreed the pastas were excellent, as well as the lamb. Always a great experience - highly recommended for great food combined with a great atmosphere!

Have been here many times but not for several years. We had beautiful weather on the patio while enjoying our amazing Italian dishes. Luckily, the owner was there and was sure we had everything we needed. Just a wonderful experience!

We had a group of six for a Christmas holiday celebration. Our waiter was outstanding. He was so informative and helpful especially with one of our party who was gluten free. We sat on the outdoor covered patio and it was decorated beautifully. They were booked solid so the noise level was quite energetic. I had the special ravioli and it was good but could have had a it more sauce and seasoning. The overall experience was very good and everyone had a great time.
