Dockside Bistro & Wine Bar was established in 2007 by Chef Laurie Nguyen. In October 2023, the restaurant was purchased by Chef Zach Caraway and Jade Adams. With over 15 years of culinary experience and training, Chef Zach is dedicated to presenting the culinary traditions of the Pacific Northwest while infusing innovative and unique culinary creations. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, daily ingredients and regularly updating its seasonal appetizers and entrees.

In addition to its exceptional cuisine, Dockside Bistro offers an extensive selection of wines from around the world. The establishment takes pride in introducing patrons to new and exciting wines, spanning from the old world to the new world. We were a group of 4 adults and a 5 year old celebrating Grampa's birthday. We spent five hundred dollars. The food was delicious. No complaints, but the prices were very high. We were one of only a few tables with diners on December 27th. We arrived at 6:00 and left at 8:30..... without desert. The staff spent the night chatting at the bar. We got our own salt and paper from the stand. My son in law went to the bar to get a desert menu and our waitress told him she would be with him in a minute. The chef came out and handed him the desert menu. The menu indicated that one should allow 15 minutes for desert to be prepared. We left with a very unhappy five year old who expected desert. A lot of money to spend with no one coming to check on our water or drink orders or to update us on why we were waiting 20 minutes before courses, with dirty plates sitting in front of us. We will not be back.

The menu was amazing! We ordered several items, more than we needed, just to try several items, and they did not disappoint. Loved the ambiance, and you can’t beat the waterfront view. Service was as good as the food. Overall great experience.

The waitress was very good however the food was not. Very over priced for what you get. Most of the food was very bland (not much flavor) I had the Ling Cod and it was very fishy and my wife had the duck and she could not eat it. The bill was $500.00 for 4 people with a couple of drinks. I don't mind paying that for a good meal but this food was not worth the price.

Birthday dinner - we were greeted as we checked in and were asked who was celebrating. The booth we requested was available and we were seated immediately. A birthday card was on the table. Our server was welcoming, cheerful, and attentive and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We were offered numerous options for our meal with truly personalized service. We have eaten here several times in the past, but were not always treated this well. The restaurant is under relatively new ownership and made this birthday dinner memorable. We will definitely be returning.
