The staff and server were friendly and welcoming. We started with the most delicious dinner rolls which arrived warm and with a side of cheddar cheese they were to die for. My husband has the duck and I had the Moroccan chickpea stew and I both were outstanding. We will definitely be back!

It was a relatively quiet evening at the Inn and we thoroughly enjoyed our fireside dinner in the Tavern. We started with a couple of their specialty cocktails, which were delicious. We had the chicken and duck entrees. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and were quite tasty. In addition to the great meal and ambiance, the service was terrific.

We frequently dine here as we love the vibe. The last 2 times have been a bit disappointing. Tonight service was slow at the beginning. Our appetizers came out fast but dinner was slow. When we received our main course, it was barely warm. The veal paillard was one tiny strip of veal. Now, I am a pretty good home cook who cooks veal ALOT. This strip was probably 2oz of meat. Very disappointed. That said, it was cooked perfectly (I was just hungry still). I know they can do better. Sad it wasn’t their best.

Dinner fior two. They gave us the table in the bar in front of fireplace. The service and food were very good. the bar has charm, and very comfortable, but when full, Imagine it is noisy. I will return.

Everything was great. I was sort of sad, they were out of the pork that looked and sounded amazing. Our server was wonderful. We had a late reservation so there was only one other table but clearly it can be a lively place on the weekends.

Poor communication with the host staff. We were seated late at a table setup for 5 and we were a party of 6. So we waiting longer and their solution was to cram 6 into the space for 5. Thirty minutes after our reservation time we were at the table that was empty the entire time we waited. With no apology or anything. Our server was delightful. Before our appetizers came someone suggested they could move us to another table which was much better suited for a party of 6. We had an enjoyable dinner. Shocking there was no attempt to make us feel welcome or important.
