              Wonderful location over looking the ocean. Fish tacos were amazing. Barbecued chicken salad was a hit as well. Had a table by the glass wall looking out over the bay. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive Definitely will come back.

              It’s great place to dine based on my experiences in Oahu. The next time we dine, I will definitely request an inside table. The space and ceiling heaters were inadequate for the outside patio. We saw at least 8 different parties request different tables away from the cold ocean breezes. It was very distracting. A young employee had to clean the same four tables routinely after guests were seated, but didn’t like their tables. Some even left the restaurant. I also think it would be nice for the restaurant management to distinguish between indoor and outdoor dining options when guests book online or via telephone. Although San Diego has a mild climate, it does get chilly in the winter.

              Our 3rd visit to Duke’s in a week was as good as the first time. Britney was our server again! She was warm, attentive and extremely welcoming. We had the pork nachos again, with Coconut Shrimp, Ribs and Chicken. The Duke’s Blonde was amazing ! We even got a visit from a pigeon and almost got a lucky “package”. haha. Cant wait to visit again! Aloha from Dallas!

              The service was pretty bad. The waitress could care less about our table. I had to get up to get our check since she never came back to see if we wanted anything after she took our order . Expected better service in La Jolla.

              Duke’s on Sunday. I got the filet and my wife got the ribs and chicken. Both meals were great. The dessert was delicious we shared the KIMO’S ORIGINAL HULA PIE, which was enough for three of four people. The only problem with our experience was, we ate too much.
