   Sorry to say, this review is for our last dinner on the last day Eastland Cafe was open. We've loved and eaten at EC for years, often dining on their patio with our dog. They have a great chef, Paul Wright, who has come up with a creative menu of farm-to-table dinners and the place was great for casual to semi-formal dining, special dates, and always fantastic tasting food and drinks. We had mixed drinks with the steak (terres major with a great red-wine pan sauce and fresh veggies) and scallop dinners as well as a desert. Never had a bad experience here and will miss it dearly. It is closing because they sold the property, not Covid-19 as both their sit down dining (up and down based on local rules) and take home business were pretty steady. Definitely like the company's other two restaurants which we also would recommend - Parkland Cafe and Pomodoro East.

   Love this place! Sorry to see it close soon. Like all restaurants I wish they'd turn off the music so conversation was easier.

   I hadn’t been here in over 5 years and it is nice to say it is still as amazing as I remember. I loved enjoying the happy hour and my husband and I loved the cocktails and tapas.

   Tables were a little close for comfort, considering the pandemic guidelines. Waiter was unattentive. I love your French onion soup, ordered it-but was never brought to me. Waiter was not apologetic. We ordered dessert-to go. It was stale! So disappointing! We have eaten here many times and had better experiences, this was my birthday so needless to say, very disappointing.

    Our server wanted nothing to do with us. We arrived at 8:10 and knew they closed at 9pm so we wanted to get our order in fast so we could eat and leave by close. He dropped off our drinks so fast we had to call after him to flag him down for apps. The apps came out quickly and our friends really liked them, but we couldn’t find our server again to order dinner. He just dropped the apps and ran. So we decided to not eat dinner and left at 9 and there were still 3 other tables in the restaurant. I understand if he was cut and wanted to go home, but why not pass us off to a closer instead of barely giving us service and clearly not wanting us there? It sucked because we were excited to take our friends there since we had such great service and a great experience last time.
