   I’ll start by saying Eddie V’s has never disappointed us until today. Since we retired dining at an upscale restaurant has been reserved for special occasions, and we’ve been able to depend on Eddie V’s to be special. Sadly, they missed the mark today. The lobster bisque was a bit cooler than lukewarm, and it was the thinnest lobster bisque I’ve ever had. It also lacked flavor - it essentially tasted ‘watered down’. My wife chose the Caesar salad to start, and it was OK, but the dressing was pretty tart for our taste. For the main course we both had the filet. The steaks were a great cut and very tender, but I could taste absolutely no seasoning on mine, and my wife felt the same about hers. It was so flavorless that after a couple of bites we decided to take them home and properly season them then reheat them on the grill. As for service, our server didn’t check to see if the food was good. When she came to the table at the end of our (short) meal she didn’t ask how the food was or if we liked it, she said “are we done?” and we said yes, please box our leftovers to go. No manager came to check on us during the meal, which is pretty routine at the “lesser” restaurants that we attend. This visit has left us questioning whether we’ll return to Eddie V’s. As I said, this is the first “miss” for them, so we’ll probably try again sometime.

   Our server Victor was simply awesome. He was professional and attentive to our family's needs. He made a great oyster recommendation. That was extremely thoughtful. Eddie Vs CityCentre is always the best.

   Our visit for Easter was fantastic. We had a couple hiccups but nothing terrible, one wine glass had foreign debris in it. Entrees came out while appetizers were still on the table...one of my peeves. The food was off the charts good... all of it. Service was good, management stopped by to apologize about wine glass. Just a solid performance all around. We'll be back!

    Great dining experience. Michelle R is the main reason for this. The food is good but she makes dining an experience to remember. Can never go wrong with the calamari, lobster bisque and a med rare steak or lamb chops. Wine selection very expansive with broad range of price points.
