Eddie V's Prime Seafood is a luxury dining destination known for the seafood flown in from pristine waters around the world, as well as its premium hand-carved steaks. Dishes are artistically prepared and feature an ever-changing array of seasonal seafood, along with critically acclaimed prime center-cut steaks broiled to perfection.     Unfortunately the restaurant was woefully unprepared and my 5:30 reservation was not seated until 6:30. Also some of the potatoes in the au gratin were not cooked through.

    We arrived around 5:00 PM for a 515 reservation.. As we came in, we could see they had been totally overbooked . There was no place to even sit in the bar or anywhere . We had to stand up the whole time and wait until 630 to even be seated.. 7:00 PM before we got our dinner served to us. The turkey was good and the mashed potatoes . The green beans and squash, had an odd flavor that I couldn’t put my finger on…  I sure wish we would’ve stayed at home and just cooked our own dinner…. didn’t know it was going to be an all nighter…

    The wait for our reservation was an hour long with people everywhere. The bar area was full and the line for a drink was 20 people deep. The main course for the meal was good but the accomplice sides were hard and not edible. Marcus our waiter done a good job. All in all our reservation was for 4:15 and we were not seated till 5:20 and we finished eating around 7:15. Not to impressed with Eddie V on holidays.

    Great service, great food, hugh quality and enagaing staff. Would like for them to have ambient/dinner music to drown down the noise levels in the restaurant when it is full/busy.

    Nice place. We had to wait about 35 minutes for our table even though we had a reservation. The bread was fantastic. The food was good. They were out of some of the desserts we wanted, but overall, it was a good meal. Service was awesome! My water glass was never empty.

    We dined at Eddie Vs on Thanksgiving and had a 1pm reservation. We arrived at approximately 5mins before 1pm and were told our table wasn’t quite ready yet and were not told how long it would be, it turned out that we wouldn’t be sat until closer to 1:45pm despite having the 1pm reservation. Once seated things were a bit better until after we had our entrees and the waitress then proceeded to disappear for 35 mins so we were stuck sitting there after we finished eating. During that time no one came and checked on us to see if we needed a box for our leftovers or see if we wanted dessert. Overall we were very disappointed in our experience as the level of service did not meet our expectations for a higher end dining experience.

    No king crab legs. The server past to the manager my disappointment. Yes I understand the restaurant issues. Nevertheless we would have found an alternative restaurant had we known. Instead of providing excuses, find a solution

    Jamie was the best service person I have ever known in my 80 years of fine dining…it doesn’t hurt that he is handsome too!!! Seriously, I watched him tend and navigate several tables as smooth and flawlessly perfect…attending to each as if they were the only one and anticipating needs before the need to ask. His quiet yet personable demeanor was at once personal and professional. He made our dining experience almost feel like being at someone’s home…he was as good as the food, which was amazing. Thank you all for the wonderful experience.
