                                                                                            It has the potential to be good. It just falls short of fine dining. Attention to detail is lacking, and the servers are spread too thin. It started strong, but as it got busy, the service slipped away. The flavor was there with the food, but it came out cold. It just missed the mark for the price that was paid.

                                                                                            My salmon was not prepared well done as I asked. Sent it back, ended up taking it home cause I was finished with the rest of my meal. Chef seemed to be having issues. My broccoli was warm but raw. So was my husband's. Service was great.

                                                                                            Service was slow. As best we could tell there were only two servers in our entire area. So it’s no fault of their own. Maybe they were shortstaffed.

                                                                                            Edgewild is actually one of our favorite restaurants we enjoy going to because of their amazing happy hour specials. When I made my reservation for Valentine’s Day, no one mentioned that they would not be offering happy hour that night. When we arrived, we ordered a bottle of wine, as is typical during happy hour when it is 50% off, only to discover after having ordered it that they weren’t offering happy hour and they had a special Valentine menu. I realize this is typical, but nobody told us either when I made the reservation nor when we arrived nor when we ordered the bottle of wine. The service that particular night was slow, and I was very disappointed that they were not more forthcoming about their menu limits that night.

                                                                                            I was looking for an intimate restaurant for valentines day with premium cuisines and even though I live in the area and often go to chesterfield I had never been to this restaurant. Loved the ambiance and the Valentine’s Day chef specials. Highly recommend and will be back again in the future

                                                                                            We love their Mushroom and brie soup and have it whenever we eat here. We came early on Valentines Day 3:30. It was very quiet as not many people were eating at that hour. The food and service were great.

                                                                                            Our experience was awful. I made reservations in January for my husband’s 70Th birthday. I requested a high top table in the fireplace room for 4. I confirmed my reservation several times. When we arrived, the black man at the desk said sorry, but we booked a party for $2500 in that room, so no go..sorry. He stated we could sit at a high top in the bar area. We sat, the ambiance that expected for this special occasion was not acceptable. We ordered 2 wines, paid, and left to enjoy a special birthday at Stoney River ( excellent choice) they were kind, and accommodating. The manager that I asked to speak to prior to leaving Edgewild finally called me, and she was very rude, and stated that I should blame this on Open Table..they screwed up. Very unprofessional, I let her know, and hung up. Thank God Stoney River saved this momental birthday for our loved one. Our experience at Edgewild was -1. Sorry you didn’t have that rating.

                                                                                            The quality of food and serving size has gone down hill. I used to love coming here but last night was very disappointing. It started out having to wait for our table which we had a reservation for and the restaurant was fairly empty. We get seated surrounded by 2 large extremely loud groups. Food was so so and definitely not the quality for the price.
