From the moment my wife and I arrived at Edwin’s Restaurant, Robert made our evening exceptional. His warm welcome, attentiveness, and deep knowledge of the menu stood out immediately. He took the time to explain each dish with enthusiasm and offered thoughtful wine pairings that elevated the entire meal. Throughout the evening, Robert struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. Our water glasses were never empty, our courses were timed perfectly, and we felt genuinely cared for without ever being rushed. It’s clear that Robert takes pride in creating a memorable experience for his guests. Thanks to him, our dinner at Edwin’s wasn’t just a meal—it was a truly special occasion. We’ll absolutely be returning, and we’ll be asking for Robert by name.

Food and drinks were delicious and prices were reasonable. Service was attentive. Appreciated that Chef Brandon came around and greeted everyone and checked that everything was good. Will come back again soon.

Our experience at Edwin was really, really good! The server Paul was fantastic. The food was great. Brendan.(owner) table touch was so nice! It was for my wife’s birthday, she loved it. The atmosphere was very nice. I’m glad they didn’t touch the “nod”to the old building. The place is beautiful. A Must go.

My friend and I had been to Nighttown for lunch before they closed. She lives in Cleveland Heights and it was one of her favorites. We were excited to patronize Edwins in that historic spot. We had an early dinner at 5pm. We sat on the patio. The patio needs some atmosphere. It’s a great space but feels like you’re dining in a garage. Mr. Chrostowski was there and checked on every table personally. My friend told him the patio needs some plants and he said they would be redecorating it soon. The blue cheese butter served with the table bread was delicious. The wine was a generous serving. My mixed green salad was fantastic. My friend got the mushroom risotto and she loved it. I had the shrimp scampi. It was okay but could’ve used more garlic or some parmesan. We got the beignets with caramel sauce and they were steamy hot and yummy. I would like to see a raspberry sauce with them. My friend ordered a chai coffee and the cream curdled in the drink, but she drank it. The service was good and by the time we left around 7pm, it was packed. Very exciting, thriving atmosphere. Be aware that navigating the narrow halls takes a bit of patience with patrons and servers constantly passing each other. I love the fact that you can either valet or park in The Ascent parking garage. I will definitely dine at Edwins more frequently now that it is in this new, more convenient spot. Keep up the good work, Edwins!

Always alot of fun. Great atmosphere. Jazz night was great. Service can be spotty, but this night was good. Cocktails good and came fairly timely. Lobster bisque good. Fish fry OK, with large pieces of cod, but it was a bit salty. Also over shoestring fries that were also too salty. Will know better next time to have them hold off on the salt. But still a good night.

We had a great experience. The place was super busy and the staff was super efficient. Good food, reasonable prices, what’s not to like. The beignets were fantastic.

My wife and I went for our anniversary, we had reservations for the Brasserie at 5:45PM on a Thursday. There were still open tables, but the whole restaurant (Bar, Brasserie, and Fine Dining) pretty much filled up after that. While it wasn't quiet, we could still easily talk to each other during the visit. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. The American Cabernet and the Black Manhattan were excellent. The escargot appetizer was delicious and we enjoyed their great bread with it. My wife thought her Duck Confit with mushroom risotto was the best ever. My Coq au Vin, which came with mushrooms, carrots, and mashed potatoes was terrific. The Chocolate Pyramid and Bananas Foster were wonderful for dessert. They added an additional plate that was decorated with "Happy Anniversary" and a lighted candle. Made for a great evening.

Nice to experience Edwin’s bistro in the nightgown location. The salad Nicoise was top notch. Steak frite very good. However the roast trout was (lightly) battered and fried. Good service.
