Holiday decorations are fantastic. Makes the evening more festive. So many great choices on the menu it’s hard to choose. Boz is fabulous server who took great care of us.

This is my go to special dinner spot. Pricing is reasonable, and the menu has a broad range of options at various price points. You can go all in on a large surf and turf or have spaghetti and meatballs and still have a great meal. The service is unparalleled. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, humorous and unobtrusive. The atmosphere is just right. Busy but not hurried or loud. “Free” Valet parking is also a plus. One of those rare dependable spots where I can count on a great experience.

EJ’s is our go-to restaurant for special occasions, they are complete pros. Expensive - but worth it! Everything is top notch

The food is always top-notch. So many EJ’s waitstaff have been employed for so long, everyone feels like family. Great supper club atmosphere and a wonderful dining experience.

A great gem with a “real” feel of a club. Food is fantastic. The Prime Rib is the best in the Chicagoland area. Worth the splurge.

Christian, our server is the BEST! Knowledgeable, kind and considerate. Attentive to everyone’s needs. Our food was perfect! Excellent clams casino and oysters Rockefeller!

Impressive every time. They never fail to deliver. Had a quick dinner. EJs slaw and fried shrimp! Two hidden gems on the menu. Service is perfect

As the say, you only have one chance to make a first impression and sadly EJ’s was a disappointment! This was the first time that my husband and I have ever gone to EJ’s even though we have lived in Skokie for 40+ yrs. We typically for to other steak houses with our family but on Friday, we decided to make EJ’s are choice for Date Night! From the moment we walked in I had the feeling we may have made the wrong choice! It was SO LOUD that it was not enjoyable! The table we were sat at was a 2 seater up near kitchen tucked in a corner where clearly we must have been forgotten about!! The waiter was not very friendly (never smiled) but just acted as if he was doing his job. I ordered my steak medium well (very little pick I asked) and it came out RARE!! I sent it back to be cooked as I ordered but by the time it was brought back to me my husband was half way done with his meal!! I also had to ask for a refill on my ice tea and our water glasses were never refilled during the meal! Let’s just say for a $214 meal this was a complete waste of our money!! The real kicker was when we left nobody was even at the from door to say good night or to ask how we enjoyed our meal!! We would have thought that our waiter should have noticed the terrible dining experience we were having and that he would have let his manager know about it!! Dr. Lipin and I will never return to EJ’s based on this most unpleasant dining experience!
