Atmosfera super. Cibo buonissimo. Confusione con la comanda, ma niente di problematico. Il servizio potrebbe essere migliore, ma il posto e estremamente affollato. Purtroppo non sono previsti sottobicchieri e alla fine avevamo tutto il tavolo bagnato dalla condensa dei cocktail.

Food was generally good but service was slow. That said, we never felt pressured to be done and get out so that's definitely a plus. Price point is a bit hight for what you get.

⭐ 1/5 – Disappointing Experience We had a reservation and arrived on time, yet we still had to wait over 15 minutes for a table. Once seated, they moved us to another table, adding to the inconvenience. Service was extremely slow—it took another 15 minutes just to get water, and our server had zero service attitude. They even switched our server mid-meal, causing more delays. We were celebrating a birthday, but the experience was far from special. When the bill came, it took forever to sort it out. Food was below average and definitely not worth the wait. Wouldn’t recommend.

It is an undeniably beautiful restaurant, service is great! The food in my Opinion was a bit over priced for the portion amount & unfortunately the churros gave me stomach issues all night after eating there for dinner. I would go again, maybe for a lunch service but probably won’t order the churros again!

I recently dined at El Catrin and wanted to share my experience, as I was quite disappointed with both the food and the service. I ordered the roasted cauliflower, but it was extremely sour and not enjoyable. I asked for a special drink based on the server’s recommendation, but I was served something else. Since it was my first time trying it, I wasn’t aware until I received the bill that I was charged full price for a different drink, which was not part of the specials. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, I was only given an apology, but my bill was not adjusted to reflect what I had actually ordered. I expected better service and transparency, especially when ordering based on recommendations.

Found this place on a business trip to Toronto. It was winter so the patio was closed but the atmosphere inside was great. Beautiful decor and comfortable seating. My group enjoyed the food, cocktails and atmosphere.

We love the Agave Club tasting dinners. Chef Carlos always always comes up with new menus for each time. To share a communal table in a private dining room, be hosted by Doug to walk us through the tequila/mezcal tastings, and be treated as valued guests by Pamela is a special experience. The food and service are excellent. El Catrin only offers these special meals periodically- and we try to grab tickets when we can. It’s a great value and so much fun. Not to be missed!

While I have been to El Catrin many times and had many amazing experiences! This was my first time celebrating my bday there and I had a blast my waitress was amazing 🩷!

Your service needs improvement. I booked the reservation for 5 diners 3 days before the event. The greeter acknowledges 1 group of people at a time and leisurely seats each group. I dutifully waited in the doorway until it was my turn to be acknowledged. I said I reserved 3 days ago only to be told he had to set my table up. So I had wait longer while he marches up and down the length of the restaurant. Then he’s back to arrange the clipboard and menus and the 1 glass the table is to receive. And then he has to update the computer tablet. All good. At the table I’m told by the bartender he’s our server then he gets me water and I never see him again for the rest of the meal. Who our actual server was I have no idea. We ordered an appetizer from the woman that filled our water glass. We then suggested to her we would like to order drinks. Then she removed the glass the greeter brought with the clipboard and menu ? The purpose of that 1 glass remains a mystery to me. This was repeated later when again we suggested to someone else refilling our water that we would like to order our food. As I said who our server really was I have no idea. We are a group of old friends, 2 from out of town. We were in no rush, but your service was a little less than attentive.
