Reservation 6:30 did not get food until 8:05. Server was very nice but the service was sub par. Not attentive seemed inexperienced. Do Not sit upstairs

Lovely, enjoyed every minute of it. One of my favorite restaurnts to go to. They have great service with nice atmospher and excellent food and drinks!

This place rarely disappoints. We sat outside with a lovely view of Broad Creek and Shelter Cove Marina. Our server, Kilroy, was excellent—attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed a cocktail and a calamari appetizer. Both were delicious. We followed that with two exceptional seafood entrees and a lovely bottle of white wine. Our Easter brunch could not have been better!

The service was excellent! The food was okay … the grouper was surprisingly dry, while both my date and I had upset tummies after lunch. Not sure we’ll go back for the food, but the service and ambiance was great.

We hadn't been to ELA's in some time, so decided to go for Easter Sunday Brunch. It was a beautiful day and always enjoyable to watch the boats going in/out of Shelter Cove. We ordered a Bloody Mary and Gin and Tonic, both were excellent (kudos to the bartender). The waitress (didn't get her name) was very good and even though the Fried Oyster appetizer wasn't on the menu, she got the cook to make it anyway. This turned out to be the highlight of the meal. I got 10 large oysters, fried perfectly with a spicy remoulade sauce. I would order this next time along with a salad and be done with it. My wife had the lobster bisque for an appetizer, which was average at best (no lobster, just the lobster taste). She had the crab cake entree (2 crab cakes) and I had Crab Cakes Benedict. There are better crab cakes to be found on the island, these were OK, but not worth getting again. Overall, a good experience but not outstanding, which you would expect for the price you pay ($$$$).

I'm usually a straight 4 or 5 reviewer but this was the third try for us at Elas. Each time it's the same. Good food. Great view of harbor and rude and or pushy service. We are done. Looks like nice high end spot but behave like diner trying to turn tables quickly.
