Southern hospitality, fine coastal cuisine, and well-chosen wines in a comfortable, elegant 1900 mansion have made Elizabeth on 37th a favorite destination in Savannah since 1981. Inspired by Chef Elizabeth Terry, Elizabeth on 37th continues to serve a sumptuous combination of traditional and innovative dishes, directed by Chef Kelly Yambor. The wine program and service staff are led by owners Greg and Gary Butch. Elizabeth on 37th is located in the Victorian District. The mansion, built for a cotton broker, is decorated with historic Savannah colors and patterns, fresh flowers, original paintings and ceramics, and is entered through fragrant herb gardens. *We are able to seat parties larger than 8, please contact the restaurant for availability via phone or email.     Buona la location: Personale gentile al tavolo ma camerieri rumorosi fra di loro, non molto professionali. Clima molto informale alla fine della serata, non adeguato ad un ristorante di livello. Prezzo fisso alto x 7 portate di livello medio.

    Elizabeth on 37th is just a wonderful restaurant. They have a 7 course tasting menu. Our dinner was absolutely delicious. My husband drinks an old fashion. He thinks it is the best one he has ever had. Our servers were so knowledgeable and professional. Everything about this restaurant is first class. We always visit this restaurant when we are in Savannah. You can’t go wrong visiting this wonderful restaurant.

    Michael and Allie did a wonderful job servicing our table and the entire room in a very timely and professional manner. My Mother and I thoroughly enjoyed the 7-Course New Years Tasting Menu, everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were fantastic! Look forward to returning again soon.

    Tasting menu was supposed to have wine pairings with specific courses. We were often nearly through a course before the paired wine was served

    If you are looking for an exquisite dinner in an old Savannah mansion - this isn't the place. True, the restaurant is housed in an old Savannah, what some would call a mansion, but the interior is vintage roadhouse. First, the lighting is atrocious - it will turn beautiful women into goblins. Second, one would think the restaurant would have some period paintings or wall decor. Nope, none that I saw. The place looks like it was decorated with purchases from a thrift shop. Chairs are also uncomfortable, and the place feels cramped. The charm that Savannah offers in spades is not to be found here. However, the food was good but certainly not great nor was it exciting. You can't convince me that dumping a half cup of crab meat into a puree of what tasted like potatoes elevated the soup above what it was - potato soup. The wine paring option? I had no issues with the selection, just the pours. Two and one-half ounces is the standard pour at wine tastings with dump buckets but will hardly carry you through a dinner course. (I did notice inconsistences in pours between tables). And, for heaven's sake, pour the wine before the course is served and not mid-way through it. Then there is no valet parking. I would not have mined that so much if it had not been raining. Elizebeth on 37th? - What a shame! There are just better options.

    This was our second time at Elizabeth's on 37th. Both food experiences were Amazing. The food was So Delicious. The service is so fantastic. We love the Chef's Tasting Menu format. We highly recommend this restaurant and food experience.

    Our recent dining experience at Elizabeth on 37th was nothing short of extraordinary. My wife and I have made this our annual Christmas tradition, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. We indulged in the seven-course menu and highly recommend the wine pairing—it’s a splurge, but well worth it. The thoughtful pairing elevated each dish to new heights, showcasing the chef’s and sommelier’s expertise. A special shoutout to our server, Kim, who made the evening truly unforgettable. Kim was not only incredibly personable but he also took the time to explain each course in detail, highlighting how the flavors complemented the paired wines. His attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm went above and beyond, making us feel like VIPs throughout the evening. While the meal is on the pricier side, the quality and creativity of the dishes make it worth every penny. This restaurant is a gem in Savannah, offering both a romantic atmosphere and exceptional cuisine. Elizabeth on 37th is an experience we cherish every year, and we can’t wait to return.
