   Elways is a beautiful restaurant with great salads and pricy mains. Overall good but wine list on Vail website is not the wine list at the restaurant and online list has some reasonably priced reds and the list at the restaurant does not. Very deceptive.

   Food was spectacular, lamb chops were amazing. Tuna tartare was super fresh, and all cuts of meat were cooked perfectly.

   The food was ok but not exceptional which we have come to expect in vail. My steak was very oily/greasy and the Mac and cheese was bland. The spinach artichoke came out cold and they added a burner underneath.

   We had a wonderfully delicious experience at Elway’s a month ago when we were in Vail. We’re back in town with our children and wanted them to experience Elway’s too. It was a perfect 10. The restaurant run smoothly because of the incredible manager. We had the same fantastic waiter both times and hope to have him again. The entire wait staff adds to the wonderful experience. And if you are a meat eater, be sure to get the lamb lollipops!!!

   My Vail trip isn’t complete if I don’t eat here. Everything is always amazing at Elway’s. Food is absolutely delicious and the service is great.

    I really feel like this is such a hidden gem and people overlook this place. I have been here 2 times and every time it is so amazing. Our server wasn’t the best but we suspect she was new. The sommelier was great and suggested a bottle of wine that was so good and didn’t break the bank. The #7 salad was so yummy as was my Elways salmon. My husband got a filet and lobster tail and the lobster tail was cooked to perfection! The crab fried rice is a unique thing to have on the menu as a side but omg, it so good! Our only real complaint is the dessert menu, we had the key lime pie last time and it was just okay, tasted frozen and this time we had the ding dong which lacked flavor. Granted the coconut cheesecake sounds amazing but my husband hates coconut so i haven’t tried it, so there are some thing I think would be good but wish there was more of a variety. All in all, one of our best meals we had on our ski trip and we definitely will be back!
