Named after Elias (Ely) Shapley of Greenville, Mississippi, Ely’s was established in 2008 with an emphasis on the highest quality beef, seafood, and spirits, while featuring an extensive wine list and friendly professional service. Located upstairs overlooking the Railroad District in Old Town Ridgeland (MS), Ely’s mixes the old with the new, offering time tested dishes in a cozy, upscale, contemporary setting unlike most local steak and seafood restaurants.

Service was great as usual. Meal was delicious - shared Wedge salad, filet topped with lobster meat in Louisiane sauce and steak fries.

Food was outstanding. Steak was cooked perfect and the drinks were just right. My wife and I had a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is on the pricey side but sometimes you just have to treat yo self!

Food quality was great. Atmosphere was great as well. Customer service was superb. Makenna was our server and she did a great job. We look forward to coming back. It was Valentine’s Day and everything went smooth.

We usually dine here a couple of times a year for special occasions. As usual the food and service were excellent. We would like to have a few more gluten free options on the menu, particularly bread or chips to accompany appetizers like the shrimp and crawfish dip. Next time we will ask for the salad dressing on the side, because there was too much on my wife’s salad. The steak and shrimp and grits entrees were excellent as always. We will be back.

Exceptional service and 10/10 food. Staff were the epitome of top notch hospitality. Food was cooked to perfection and timing of everything was perfect! Recommend for date night, work events, and more!

It was our first time ever eating there and the service was the best you could ask for, highly recommend eating there to others. Very polite, respectful, and food had great flavor all around.
