Epulo Bistro serves seasonal Northwest cuisine with a Mediterranean flare and creative seasonal cocktails in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Located in downtown Edmonds, we are just steps away from The Cascade Art Museum, Scratch Distillery and the Kingston Ferry. Epulo is a family owned, upscale bistro that prides itself on combining both modern-creative and traditional cooking practices, and to serve delicious and remarkable food, cocktails and wine.                                                                     We’ve had good meals before at Epulo. This Saturday may have been an off day for the chef. Pork chop was dry and insufficiently seasoned. It was drab at best. The Wagu steak was tough and chewy. It was pre-cut into slender slices and yet was chewy. Halibut cheeks were also not seasoned enough. We don’t like our food overly salty but some salt is an essential ingredient in seasoning food before cooking. This seems to have been forgotten last night.

                                                                    Lovely staff and the place feels a little like a hotel bar with a piano player, but the food made us immediately sick! Pizza crust was like cardboard and everything was really heavy. Something was off with the cheese I think. I wish we could’ve given it a better review :(
