Estragon Tapas Bar: your slice of Spain in the South End. Estragon is owned and operated by Julio de Haro and Lara Egger. Voted Best of Boston 2023 by Boston Magazine! Chef Julio was born and raised in Madrid and his cuisine reflects the fresh simplicity of traditional Spanish fare. Many of the dishes are family recipes, served straight from Abu Luisa's kitchen to your table. To complement Estragon's extensive tapas menu, you'll find a unique cocktail list, a selection of local and craft beers, and an all-Spanish wine list with references spanning both the country's established and emerging wine regions. Owners Julio and Lara are warm and welcoming, and the service (special shoutout to Sahil Mehta) is excellent. Wide variety of delicious menu options and cocktails, including gluten-free dishes.Highly recommended.

                                                                                        Excellent tapas in a very friendly and down to earth setting. Small but solid selection of wine by the glass. Prices are very reasonable. Feels like a neighborhood hangout. We really enjoyed it.

                                                                                        Once again, an excellent experience at Estragon. We like the “new” room in front as we think the acoustics are a bit better for us (the main dining room can get pretty lively). Food, as always, was great. Pretty busy on a Saturday night yet our server (Sahil) was on his “A” game and delivered personable and efficient service!

                                                                                        Best tapas we've had - and we love tapas. A wide variety. Each was delicious. But the best thing about Estragon was Sahil. He answered our many questioned to help us choose both food and vermouth. He also made us feel as if we were well-valued friends.
