                                                                                                This is the 2nd time we’ve had the scallops and way too salty like they sprinkle salt over them prior to serving. We would’ve sent them back but our server did not come back to check on us til, (Angel) til it was too late I didn’t want another order so I just didn’t eat them!! I did tell the guys that we’re clearing our plates and he said he would let our server know but we never saw him again. We’ve been going to Fandango’s for over 30 years and today we were celebrating our 43 wedding anniversary, one I will remember, Unfortunately with salty scallops and there not cheap $58.00 a plate.😞😞

                                                                                                We were quite disappointed since this is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Pacific Grove. The lamb chops were not medium rare as requested and the short ribs although the portion was large enough was mediocre with very few root vegetables on the side. Everything was over cooked and both dishes looked and tasted like they had been left under the heat lamp.

                                                                                                Fandangos was good. I wouldn't say great. The prices were high. We loved the pasta and onion soup, but the tapas and paella were average. The service was excellent and the waiter was wonderful.

                                                                                                We ordered the Dover Sole and the presentation at the table and the fish were both excellent. Also enjoyed our favorite Profiteroles for dessert. Fandango's is a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion.

                                                                                                I love Fandangos! I try to visit any time I'm in town. It's a wonderful place with old school service and ambience. The restaurant is a collection of small rooms creating a cozy area for a small group or you and yours with a table for two. The staff is attentive without being annoying, and they are there to make your experience memorable. The food is fresh, with good options, and always delicious. Full bar service, and a nice wine list, with something for everyone. Best to make a reservation, and be sure to save room for dessert.

                                                                                                A REAL restaurant! Made me so homesick for days when you had nice cozy restaurants with multiple rooms, tablecloths and napkins. This one was impressive just walking in the door. So wonderful. Would be great for any special occasion. Food was fantastic - there were so many good items on the menu from which to choose, and it wasn't the same tired old dishes that are on every menu. We had escargot, which are not that common anymore, and a simple green salad that was perfect. Duck a l'orange came with potatoes and broccoli, while the steak frites had perfect think crispy fries - not the usual thick mess. We had vacherin for dessert, and I can't even remember the last time I had it. It was so good! Service was excellent - it was like going back 20 or 30 years ago. Prices have gone up a bit everywhere, which is the one sad thing. Otherwise, I'd eat there all the time! Street parking was easy to find but there is also a lot nearby. I will definitely come back once I save up. At least you get something for your money here.
