At first glance, you might think the name of Rouj Creole is misspelled. Besides “rouj” instead of “roux,” a quick scan of the new restaurant’s menu shows the word “gonbo” where you’d expect to find “gumbo.”But owner Stephen Hightower isn’t a bad speller. We have a great time for Valentine's day. Our water Waylan was great and so were all the other servers helping. It was a hectic day and they all handled it with great care and service. My first steak was overcooked and they were able to get it redone very quickly and it came back out perfectly!

This was my first time at this restaurant. All I can say is do your self a favor and GO as soon as you can. The service was excellent; the food was superb; and know that they outsource from local areas is a plus. My husband and I will definitely be back. FYI, the tenderloin was so tender, you didn’t really need a knife!

Rosa was amazing, provided great service. We are new out of state parents to an LSU Tiger and our second time at Superior. We love it and look forward to many visits when visiting Baton Rouge. Food is delicious!
