We, Hashiri Bettei Kaiseki Aoki, deliver the experience of “kaiseki ryori,” a type of Japanese fine dining which historically developed to be served in the Japanese tea room. The tea room, as a space, symbolizes the home of the Japanese tea ceremony, a simple yet transformative experience offering a pause in time to appreciate the seemingly small experience of sharing tea. As such, we’ve designed both the architecture and the experience, to condense an infinite expanse into an extremely small space.The space is designed sans distracting elements. Lighting will be subtle and architectural details are clean yet warm. We have been to many steak houses and I will say this was one of the best steaks we have had. This was our annual family Christmas Eve dinner and we were pleasantly surprised at the food. Since this is more Italian, wasn't sure what the steaks would be like. Has the calamari, artichoke, lobster ravioli and clam chowder as an appetizer and all were awesome. Staff was attentive and very good. Highly recommend for dinner. Thank you all and Merry Christmas

It was a pleasure to have Christmas Eve dinner at La Mere Michelle. We appreciated the warm, friendly, welcome when we arrived. The French Onion Soup was delicious, complete with a thick layer of cheese. The Chicken Tarragon entree was the best I've ever had with a Tarragon reduction that was divine. My family member ordered the Chicken Forestiere with wild mushroom cream, also delicious. Both entrees had plenty of sauce unlike some restaurants that only provide a few tablespoons, were served with green beans and scalloped potatoes, and were pleasantly filling. We didn't leave hungry. A slice of chocolate hazelnut cake with excellent flavor finished the meal.
