Drawing inspiration from the region’s history and natural surroundings, the 156-seat freestanding restaurant reflects elemental themes of wood, water, iron, and fire, reminiscent of the carriage houses and blacksmith shops that once dotted the landscape. The centerpiece of Forge & Vine is an eight-foot wood fired grill and open kitchen with counter seating where guests can enjoy dinner while interacting with the chef. Welcoming residents as well as visitors to the area, Forge & Vine offers a strong sense of place with a design sensibility that brings in the outside with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking pastoral views of Gibbett Hill.     Excellent, tasty Thai food in a clean, spacious, attractive setting. The staff are accommodating and friendly. I had the House Special Curry (with shrimp & scallops). It was delicious but mild, so I added some hot sauce to kick it up. My spouse had the Khao Pad Poo (Crabmeat Fried Rice). It is a solid choice with good crab flavor in every bite. Our dinner companion had the Larb Duck Salad: ground duck meat and other yummy things on a bed of lettuce. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes! Recommended.

    It was not too busy for a Saturday evening. Food and drinks were good. Customer service was outstanding!

    Maekha Thai has great food (scallion pancakes and wings are awesome!), great abience, and a proud owner to match. Chef Lou was friendly, inviting and had a great sense of humor. He truly loves what he does and making his customers happy. On the contrary, the waitress and hostess were a bit too serious and not as personable. Other than that, the food was good, the experience was great and I will definitely be back.
