This is the fourth Lussmans restaurant we’ve visited and the newest. The team were excellent - engaging without being obtrusive and helpful over with the menu. The restaurant is cosy and looks great. The menu is simple but really tasty. We will be back!

We live in Braintree but the trip to Sawbridgeworth is always well worth it - we have been to the Orange Tree many times now and the food, service and overall experience is always first class - I can highly recommend the Orange Tree unreservedly

It was my 21st birthday and i ordered the flat iron steak - it was absolutely divine, cooked perfectly. I also got a scoop of ice cream with a candle in on the house! I always love coming here, it feels so sophisticated and classy but laid back at the same time. Every time i visit the Hermitage i have an amazing time. Prices were reasonable considering the quality.

Good table with plenty of room for 2. Our waitress was lovely although the supervisor was less friendly. Food was great , service almost too efficient except drinks service which was a bit slow. Good atmosphere for a rainy Sunday evening
