The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. Everything was great. Waiter great. However I had your famous pot pie. Waiter should provide a large spoon. But my issue was way too much rosemary in the pot pie. Doesn’t need any. I only ate a few bites

Great food and gracious service at the food market! Generous portions are a bonus. Loved the crab soup with a little crab cake and the beet salad was fantastic.

Great to see this place so busy! My wife and I were pleased with all aspects of our dining experience. Happy hour menu was solid (that smoked old fashioned is fantastic!). Entrees were delicious. Service was slightly slower than expected, but that was probably due to how full the restaurant was. Server was helpful and responsive.
