The menu is complemented by a wide selection of local ales, showcasing the best the region has to offer.Not to be missed is the sharing platter, made up of local cheeses and meats, the day’s selection of breads and The Slaughters Country Inn pickles. Theo & Sebastian who are brothers, started Smiths in the middle of a pandemic! We are seriously passionate about patties and are based in Bourton-On-The-water, also known as ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’. Our restaurant sits circa 30 guests making it a small, exclusive place to come and eat. Since opening, we have made it our mission to get our hands on the best possible ingredients. We also use dry aged beef with a great fat content supplied by Aubrey Allen, which marries up with our strong, unique flavour combinations giving you the ultimate bite! We cant forget about or delightful buns, which are handmade daily by a wonderful local baker. All the flour used for our buns is made up of Cotswold flour sourced from local farmers. We also pride ourselves on having a vibrant cocktail scene. All of our cocktails are bespoke to us and our syrups and flavourings are made in house!

There are 2 dining spaces at Cotswold House - Fig and Bistro On The Square. The Bistro provides the perfect informal setting in which to enjoy sharing platters, as well as a range of snacks and daily specials. For dinner you can dine in the Bistro or the more formal Fig dining room. Same menu, different vibe. The bistro is dog friendly.The kitchen team take their inspiration from the generous local larder and source ingredients from passionate producers based nearby, from which they buy fantastic ingredients such as local cheeses, wholesome fresh breads and quality meats from the Cotswolds region.The Bistro has an informal atmosphere and is open seven days a week serving a range of sharing plates as well as ever-changing specials. The Bistro Bar offers a wide range of wines by the glass, as well as an enviable Gin selection and Gin tastings available . A cocktail list is also on offer, with a choice of classics or something new to try.

We pride in producing the finest burgers using local ingredients. Check out Flipside Labs, where our burger nerds try something different and interesting.Aside from burgers, we have a great wines and all our cocktails are made fresh (none of this pre-made mix nonsense). We have a wide selection of bottled beers, ales, prosecco and ciders, include non-alcoholic Peroni & Beavertown Laser Crush.Our restaurant seats 28 people inside and a further 20 outside in our lovely sun-trap garden.
