We celebrated my Mothers 84th Birthday today at Bistro Menil and high tea. It was perfect as always. Alex was our attentive server and was friendly and attentive. Tea was wonderful. I always order the same thing - Pollo Encamisadao and was not disappointed. The Tres Leches is a must every visit and it's the best in the world, IMHO. My friends had the Pork Tenderloin and is was so tender and so well seasoned.

Dining at Amore was a treat. I think my Chilean Sea Bass was the best I have eaten in Houston. My fried artichoke was excellent as usual although the stem was inedible because this is not the best season for artichokes. My wifes regala seafood dish was also very good. The prices are reasonable for white table cloth dining and service was attentive but not intrusive. My only minor complaint was that the music was a bit too loud. I'm not sure why restaurants feel the need for loud music that drowns out conversation. Also, why does an Italian or French or Japanese restaurant see the need to play American pop music. I never returned to one restaurant which served good food because their music was rock played at an ear splitting volume. I will not ever return to one of the new one star Michelin restaurants because they refused to lower the volume of their pop music which was culturally at odds with their cuisine.

I love a’Bouzy and have brought family and several friends with me. I treated a friend today for her first experience. It was amazing as always. Juan Carlos took great care of us and the manager Marcos ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of also. The food and service never disappoints! Thank you! Felecia

Ton and Trey were excellent servers and were very warm and welcoming. They took excellent care of us and even had their manager, Todd, help us with an extra question we had. We really appreciated Todd taking the time to talk to us! Probably one of the best times we have been to Graces!
