Chapter One is an award-winning Modern European restaurant with 3 AA Rosettes in Orpington, Kent. Following a major refurbishment in early 2019, Chapter One has relaunched with a more modern approach, tempting guests with greater variety and quality.Under the direction of acclaimed chef Andrew McLeish, modern European cooking is available in two formats. In the Restaurant, sophisticated seasonal dishes are served in a refined setting with a weekly changing 3-course Lunch Menu du Jour, a seasonally-inspired 7-course Tasting Menu and an a la carte option. In the more informal Brasserie, a selection of favourites are cooked to perfection with the finest ingredients.     Not been for a while, and booked the brasserie. The staff from the moment I walked in, I could not fault - they were friendly and efficient. Starters, there was a good choice, well presented & tasty. Mains - ribeye, was well cooked. My wife had the sea bass, which was ok, but a little underwhelming. Desserts - sticky toffee pudding lived up to its name ! Again the lady waitress was excellent, friendly, chatty, and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back.

    Our party of 11 had a family meal for our granddaughters 18 birthday. The food was delicious and the entertainment was amazing. The service was very efficient I would throughly recommend The Greek Meze- Sidcup. Thank you for making our celebration memorable.

    "I had an exceptional dining experience at A-Mano Restaurant in Orpington! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The menu features a wonderful selection of dishes, and the handmade pasta was a standout. I also loved the risotto absolutely delicious! And the Halloween party with live DJ was bang on!!!! Don’t skip dessert; the panna cotta was the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for quality food and great service!❤️
