An intimate & informal space, with a DJ booth & bespoke sound-system: Jazu is a Hi-Fi Cocktail bar that offers serious drinks and music. In the kitchen, we run a rotation of pop-ups – with February being host to a month-long residency by GrillBird. A menu of yakitori & small plates, chefs Ben and Scott (previously of The Quality Chop House) adopt a no-waste ethos, using every part of the bird – which are sourced from Fosse Meadows Farm.There's Homemade Shokupan - a light and fluffy Japanese milk bread - served with Miso Butter; crunchy-coated Karaage chicken with hot maple syrup; and skewers that include Chicken Liver w/ Black Vinegar Caramel, and the Tsukune w/ tangy Gochujang & Cured Egg. Simmer Huang launched on the market in 2004. The main feature of its dish is to apply the traditional cooking method of ‘simmering’ to modern catering. It is cooked completely by the water of the food itself, without adding water to the pot. The main feature of the restaurant is to advocate a standardized Chinese food model of ‘no chef, no smoke, and no repeated use of ingredients’.

Had the valentines menu. Good price but what they call sharing sides are actually regular sides between 2 so we had to order more. The dessert that came with it was essentially a plate of whipped cream with some pastry and a sprinkle of fruit - terrible. They also put the tables way too close together so you get to hear the full conversation of your dinner neighbours. Other than that, the steak is tasty, our waiter very attentive and it was a nice time.

Really lovely venue but table not cleaned before we sat down. Nor busy but service sporadic Just ok food bit still a nice place with calm vibes.

The food is so good. The Hispi cabbage is delicious, as is the blooming onion. I will be back again for dinner next time as I want the cuttlefish toasts again! They are something else. As is the onion!
