It was our 2nd visit to the Script as we enjoyed the first one on Fathers Day very much. Unfortunately we weren’t as happy this time. The lamb in the roast was like a doorstop and the cauliflower cheese was a bit watery and the roast potatoes were a bit underdone. The club sandwich was extremely bad. Not really sure how you can make a club sandwich bad?? A lot of bread and not much inside. The chicken and bacon were very overdone and inedible. All we were offered was a complimentary coffee!

Lovely atmosphere and decor Spacious seating and pleasant lighting Food was generous and tasty Service very helpful one member was vegan and there were no breakfast options for her. Waitress kindly provided a vegan breakfast very generous Many thanks

As a local, I felt compelled to write a review. Quite possibly the best afternoon I have had in the pub. I normally visit once or twice a week. The new Manager is absolutely superb, service was excellent and the food was great. Happy party of 6 and as I live in the village, I was very pleased with the service and quality!!
