Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past. The food and atmosphere was great! The service this particular time was slower than previous dining experiences there, but overall great place, especially with the Christmas decorations!

The food was outstanding. Everything was well-cooked, flavored and seasoned to perfection (from the grilled octopus to the fried calamari.) The variety of the menu is eye-popping. Also, their in-store bakery is to die for. Well worth the trip.

We ate in the the board area. TVs around which we enjoy. 5 of ate. All enjoyed meals and drinks. Service is superior. Food is very good.
