Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season. Everything was perfect! The food was delicious. The cocktail was wonderful and seasonal and they were able to also make one non-alcoholic. The staff was friendly and efficient. The manager spoke with us and when he learned we were celebrating our anniversary he comped our dessert. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning!

Sat in bar area for trivia. it took forever to get drink refills. As I had something spicy, my food was cold by the time I got my drink. Overall great as always and always a fun time.

Service and food excellent as always ! Public house is always our go-to for something special. We had a party of six. Pot roast, salmon, quinoa salad, pimento cheese/pickles, Creme brûlée and cheesecake. Not a bite left.
