Fantastic food from the top to the bottom of the menu....we tried most of them ! The Cod was super fresh and the Onglet was incredible. The stand out dish was the spinach with slipcote cheese and walnuts. This group of restaurants always make vegetable taste special. Oh and the crab Fideua with ali oli was great too. It's all good. The service is friendly and welcoming and just what you want from a "neighbourhood restaurant". Thank you for a really nice evening, really special !

We had a 18:30 booking and on arrival were led through a packed front area - the old fish & chip shop - to the back room with small tables and rather low stools. Water arrived instantly and then we ordered drinks, coke and beer (the latter cheaper than most and very good Estrella). We ordered six dishes - contrary to one reviewer, they came in pairs at nicely spaced intervals - essential given the table size. All were very tasty, I particularly enjoyed the hake. Service was very efficient and unobtrusive. Overall a good experience and we will certainly go again.

The plimsoll is a beautiful place, and the staff is lovely. Like everywhere the prices really went up. I know times are hard but 1 piece of roasted chicory (1!) and 1 small scallop for £20 + 12.5% service starts feeling a little absurd. Will happily come back for a quick burger and a half, but that’s all

Great service! The individual roasts were a good size, but the sharing suckling lamb advertised for two wasn't really filling, not much meat on the bone. Could've been easily eaten by only one person; it would have been more convenient to order two individual dishes. The sticky toffee pudding was a winner, but the pear dessert was a bit of a steal.. £8 for less than half a pear and a splash of cream.

Lovely evening catching up with an old friend. Food nice and fresh. Service excellent.
