Chef Margherita Aloi never disappoints. She is one of the few chefs in CT who provide that true Italian vibe. This is not an Italian American cuisine. Her choice of dishes and specials are like. O where Elise the servers are incredibly knowledgeable about everything she offers from cocktails. Desserts and specials. I had her ho,made pasta with filet mignon tips in a Marsala reduction with a sliver of parmigiana reggiano cheese. It was exceptional and made me feel like I was back in Italy. This is my all time favorite restaurant. From the moment you enter to being seated you are lifted to another place. I’ve been following Chef Aloi for more than 20 years. This is the real deal. Brava chef.

Our Christmas Eve dining experience was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, and the service was nothing short of outstanding. The atmosphere perfectly captured the holiday spirit, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. It was a memorable celebration shared with family, made all the more special by the warmth and attention to detail at this restaurant.

Always check out the specials first…. Tambascio’s does delicious seafood dishes. I especially like the salmon on lightly sautéed spinach and garlic. The steak is of extremely good quality and cooked just as you’d like it. Comfortable atmosphere in this small gem and very nice in the atrium. Small salad to go with entree is a nice addition to menu choices. Staff is wonderful. Great to see John and have enlightened conversation. A friendly location we like to frequent.

We’re still new to the area and went to Marygold’s for the first time 12/09 for an early dinner. Outstanding from start to finish. The cocktails were out of this world and the Chef and culinary team’s food was the BEST we’ve had in the area. We can’t wait to return.
