Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. It was the second time I dined there, and this time we celebrated my son’s birthday. The staff went out of their way to make the dinner all we could hope for, including giving him a birthday card and free dessert. The food, once again was exceptional, and the service amazing. David, the owner personally welcomes everyone. It was delightful.

It was Ok, we came at 18.30 and the starter salad was nearly empt.. so over all the price was too much for what we really get.

I always enjoy my meals here and tonight was no exception. It was great and very enjoyable. It was a happy Christmas Eve. The only complaint is that the crust on the chocolate pie appeared and tasted like it hadn’t been cooked.

We came to the Stockpot on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. We hadn’t been to the restaurant for quite some time, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was fantastic, and our waitress Ms B Lee was amazing. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms and Seafood Cocktail and then had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Plank Salmon. Everything was so good! And our waitress, she was so great. Her timing was fabulous and she was so friendly. She really made our evening!

Theres’s a surprising depth of Burmese food in NYC. After having it in abundance in San Francisco I was pleasantly surprised to find a high quality Burmese restaurant in a Portland suburb on a random trip so I booked a team dinner here. The food was better the second time and I plan on coming back any time I’m in the area.
