We serve food that, more often than not, accesses that part of our deepest soul where genuine expression can flow forth. We have always tried to give our food and service our best selves, as honest and vulnerable as we can muster. We strive to be a place where you might actually have a real connection; maybe with your server, maybe with your food or maybe with your possibly gracious host who is ACTUALLY glad you’re there. Our food is hard to nail down as we are constantly evolving and entirely seasonal and personal. We’ve used “Food you eat” as a tag line on occasion and that remains accurate.     FireFly is amazing! We've been going there for years, not very often but we should probably go more. We enjoyed an amazing day-after-Valentine's Day dinner with excellent champagne and wine. Food is always top-of-the-line gourmet yet familiar comfort food. The chicken is always amazing and I ventured to try the Moqueca Baiana with Rockfish, Shrimp and Scallops which was amazing. A Noe Valley institution, highly recommend.

    We will always return to this legendary hidden gem garden patio for special event brunches just as we did decades ago as young gay men to compare notes with our best friends after scandalous nights of clubbing! I only wish the new management would bring back the fishbowl mimosas that calmed our nerves in those crazy days :-)

    Curio SF has an amazing staff, amazing food, and just overall spectacular vibes. The outdoor patio is nice and intimate and the different bar spaces each have their own personality. The venue is great for shows (The Chapel), but don’t sleep on Curio for brunch, dinner, or drinks!!!

    AMAZING First time patron dining on Valentine’s Day 2025. Made reservations for 2. Arrived at 6:15 and the dining room was completely packed. From the greet to the bill the dining experience was top notch. Specially curated menu with a wide variety to choose from. We started with the incredible buratta, fig, arugula, prosciutto drizzled with balsamic reduction appetizer My partner had the lamb shank, I had the roast duck both served with risotto and fresh vegetables. Perfectly seasoned lamb shank and duck were falling-off-the-bone tender and ample sized. We opted for 2021 Cab Sauvignon from Castoro which went well with both dishes. Service was AMAZING with Connie. The room was as busy as I’ve ever seen in a restaurant but Connie was polite, professional, and patient - all with a smile. In fact, all the servers and staff deserve a round of applause. Couldn’t have been more impressed with this venue. We’ll be back, for sure…
