The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit, and relive the excitement of “The Race of the Century”. We excel in offering the best meat and fresh seafood hand selected by our longtime executive chef that would delight even the most discriminating of taste. Rose Garden Tea Room is set within the historic Rose Garden, the Tea Room offers an elegant and memorable experience inspired by the tradition of English tea service with a distinctive California twist.Any party with more than 6 guests MUST call to make their reservation or email tearoom@huntington.org. A very pleasant tea, in beautiful rooms, in a comfortable and welcoming setting. The teas the selves are excellent and the tea sandwiches, scones and tarts all delicious and of great quality. Warm and very accommodating service. Nice value too.

Every food choice is delicious. The service was outstanding to max Ruben was on top of every need we had. 110% would recommend Four Bricks by La Crosta. What a great way to start 2025, we had a fabulous experience with our friends.

It's a small place but staff was very friendly and the food was ample and very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their order, which included Greek salad, their combo plate, and Roquefort chicken. We had requested a quiet location and got one. I was afraid we wouldn't be able to hear the two musicians in the front room but their music was piped in.

What a beautiful restaurant and hotel! Our server, Rachel, was so sweet. The food was delicious! The restaurant didn't seem that busy, but it did take a bit longer than expected for the food to arrive. Otherwise, it was amazing! We will definitely go back!
