Our restaurant and wine bar has been serving authentic Italian cuisine in the City of Fairfax for over twenty years. It all starts with our unique brick oven, one of the first wood-fired ovens in NOVA, and our fresh pastas made in-house every day. The scents of garlic, tomatoes, and herbs follow you through the restaurant as you see the hand-painted murals covering our walls. These personal touches provide a cozy setting that takes you away to Italy and is perfect for any occasion. Our menu has a range of dishes, from traditional Italian offerings to unique personal selections. We are dedicated to using fresh ingredients from our own garden and sourced from other local farms. Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. We're also more than happy to accommodate business dinners or other special occasions in private rooms.
