Built in the early 17th century, this grade two listed pub is the oldest coaching inn in Frodsham, originally having stabling for 23 horses.     This is one of mine and my families favourite places for birthday breakfast treats & that was the reason for our visit this morning. Myself and my sister brought my Mum & Dad for breakfast for my Mums birthday. Our meals were delicious, and beautifully presented as always. We ordered a cake for my Mum also, and all I can say is WOW! It was stunning, vanilla and raspberry tower! It was huge! Such a treat. Thank you so so much, you never disappoint! The pistachio and rose latte was a welcome change too 👌🏼 The roasts are also out of this world, highly recommend!

    Early evening meal for a family birthday celebration. Restaurant was quiet as it was early, so atmosphere low key. Excellent food and service, topped of by staff putting a birthday candle on my sons Tiramisu - a nice touch. Overall very good, a really enjoyable dinner

    Had a nice afternoon watching F1 but football commentary was really loud and odd putting and there were no salted peanuts behind the bar, they had run out!
