Sweet Lula’s Restaurant is a BYOB avant-garde unique Brunch and Dinner romantic cosy dining experience in Pitman, New Jersey. We won an award for our famous sweet potato sausage corn chowder. We are close to Rowan University.We are family owned and operated by executive chef Anthony Asbury (a very famous Puppeteer) he has an Emmy displayed in the restaurant and has worked with Jim Henson and Steven Spielberg. We also play movies which we project onto a large screen which is very unique ! We are a free-flowing scratch kitchen plus veggie, vegan, and gluten-free friendly. Keep your eyes out for Chef Anthony's British wife, Lula (a previous famous pop star and Model in the 80s), she may be singing a few songs on Friday and Saturday nights. Our service was amazing! Food was incredible!! Wish it was decorated a little bit more but other than that, it was a perfect way to spend Christmas Eve.

The food and the service were very good although we were surprised when we were told by the server that we needed to order our apps and dinner at the same time since they were a paper ticket establishment. We enjoyed everything we had until the bill came and our bill went up another $10 for some service fee we were not informed of until then. Unfortunately, after a lovely evening, we walked away with a sour taste.

What a cute place! Love the old bank. That did a fantastic job with the renovations. Our waitress was exceptional and the food amazing. Their gluten free buns were fabulous!! Definitely recommend.
