Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Went for lunch and the service was amazing- our server Spencer was very efficient, knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was excellent - would recommend this location.

Everything was wonderful! Food and drinks were very unique. Beautiful place and loved the fact that music was not loud as it seems to be the case in most places these days. One tiny issue I had was how long cocktails took to get ready which discouraged us to order a second drink.

Another incredible experience at Daphne!! I went twice in one week during my trip to Toronto and it could not have been more perfect. I stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the tuna carpaccio, seafood pasta, and truffle fries. Michael, Amanda, and Lou were so attentive and friendly. I can truly say Daphne has been the highlight of my trip! What an amazing start to the new year!
