A locally owned Madison favorite, Otto's is set in a beautifully restored 1870s stone farm house with two dining levels. The menu features creative, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, fresh seafood, Certified Angus Beef steaks and more. A friendly lower-level bar serves classic cocktails and fine wines, and half-price appetizers from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday – Friday. I had a reservation and when I arrived the hostess tried to tell me I didn’t have a reservation. Some of my party got there before me and they were seated indicating my reservation. The background music was too loud. The food was good, but not much of it for the price which I was aware of. Nice time, but not overly impressed.
